Are you an experienced senior installer of stone fittings who is looking to make a move into a lead positon/ specialist of an organistation?

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-regarded fabrication and installation business specializing in natural materials across residential and commercial projects. The role offers a mix of hands-on technical work and team leadership, where you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on-site, capable of diagnosing issues and completing detailed repair work, while also guiding a small team to deliver consistent, high-quality installations and restorations.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to move into more commercial work for stone installations or for senior installer to move into an official lead role.

THE ROLE:

* Lead and perform installation of stone products including countertops, wall cladding, flooring and custom features.
* Diagnose and complete repairs and restoration work, including chips, cracks, seam repairs, polishing and resurfacing.
* Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
* Supervise and mentor installation crew members, ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are followed.
* Coordinate with project managers, shop teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
* Carry out on-site adjustments, modifications, and problem-solving as required.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organised.

THE PERSON:

* Experience in stone installation, including repair and restoration work.
* Strong knowledge of natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite) and engineered materials (quartz, porcelain).
* Experience with stone repair techniques, including epoxy work, color matching, and polishing.
* Ability to lead a crew while remaining hands-on in installation and repair work.
* Proficient in reading drawings, layouts, and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability in field environments.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
