THE ROLE:

* Lead and supervise an operational manufacturing shift of approximately 6-8 production employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive day-to-day operation across machinery, materials, and output performance.
* Own shift execution from start to finish including production scheduling, line performance, troubleshooting, shift handovers, labour coordination, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
* Maintain a hands-on leadership approach across manufacturing activities including supporting operators, responding to operational issues, coordinating deliveries and vendors where required, and driving continuous improvement.
* Partner closely with plant leadership to support ramp-up activity, develop operating standards, improve processes, and contribute to the long-term growth of a rapidly expanding manufacturing operation.

THE PERSON:

* Previous experience as a Shift Manager, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Lead, Operations Supervisor, or similar leadership role within manufacturing.
* Experience working with industrial machinery and production environments such as plastics, packaging, thermoforming, molding, sheet forming, food packaging, converting, recycling, paper, or process manufacturing.
* Comfortable managing production teams while remaining hands-on – able to lead operators, solve problems on the floor, and maintain delivery against production schedules.
* Practical, adaptable, and growth-minded with the ability to learn new processes quickly and contribute beyond the immediate scope of the role within a scaling manufacturing environment.
