Are you an experienced CNC Machinist/ Programmer looking to work with a smaller vibrant, high-end equipment specialist team where you can work tasks by yourself as wellas help and guide other memebers?

This an opportunity to join a high-end specialist in custom production and repairs for industrial equipment at a senior position as the owner expands its business and operations due to their excellent reputation and in-demand services.

On offer is the opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist/ Programmer to work with a smaller team and run ration alongside the owner where you will be part of the company’s succes first-hand.

The ideal candidate will have worked as a senior meeber for bespoke high-end equipment repairs and production with multiple CNC operations (lathes and mills programming, setting, design etc.) who may even be able to take a client brief and relish the challenge in frontof them.

THE ROLE:

* Take ownership of critical machining operations including programming, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes for the shop floor.
* Plan and sequence jobs across multiple CNC machines to ensure safe, efficient workflow and on-time completion.
* Monitor quality and process risk by identifying tool wear, setup drift, undersize conditions, and tolerance issues, making stop/go decisions when needed.
* Lead communication and support by guiding machinists during setups and troubleshooting, and coordinating clearly with ownership and the team.

THE PERSON:

* CNC machining experience focused on bespoke /custom production and repairs for high-end industrial equipment in job shop or industrial environments, with strong programming, setup, and machining skills.
* Proficient with CAM software (Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, EZCAM, or similar) and able to own jobs from print through completion.
* Expert in print interpretation including tolerances, GD&T, and critical fit features.
* Relishes a vibrant team environment utilising a broad hands-on background, including manual machining and experience with rotating equipment, shafts, bores, fits, and industrial repair.
