Business Development Director (PET Plastics Recycling / Trading & Brokerage)

U.S. Remote (National Travel Required)

$120,000 – $180,000 per annum + high commission + benefits (OTE $250k+ per annum)

Are you experienced in PET recycling industry and looking for the opportunity to leverage your existing PET recycling industry relationships and directly benefit from a highly lucrative commission structure tied to profit generation and trading performance?

On offer is the chance to join a well-established international recycling and commodities business with an extensive global network across PET plastics recovery, processing, and supply. As the company launches and scales its U.S. operations, you will play a pivotal role in building strategic partnerships across recyclers, processors, converters, manufacturers, and end users nationwide.

The ideal candidate will be a highly driven, commercially focused PET recycling professional with an established industry network and strong experience in trading or brokerage-style sales. They will be confident operating in a fast-paced environment where margins, speed, and relationships are key.

This is your opportunity to step into your first divisional leadership role, with full ownership of commercial growth, trading strategy and national account development in this fast-scaling market.

THE ROLE:

* Lead national business development across PET plastics recycling, trading, and brokerage activities in the U.S.
* Build and manage key relationships with recyclers, processors, converters, manufacturers, and end users.
* Identify and secure profitable trading opportunities, including long-term supply and off-take agreements.
* Negotiate commercial deals and represent the business at key industry events and conferences.

THE PERSON:
* Proven experience in PET plastics recycling within business development, sales, or trading/brokerage roles.
* Established industry network across recyclers, processors, converters, manufacturers, or waste partners.
* Strong commercial mindset with experience in margin-led, trading-focused environments.
* Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and motivated by high earnings and building a new commercial operation.
