On offer is an opportunity to join a chemical site in Houston that is committed to maintaining best-in-class standards in the storage and handling of volatile material who are excited to hire a hands-on Project Manager with experience across tanks, valves, pumps and associated piping systems to support ongoing site improvements and asset integrity.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing capitl projects including storage tanks, piping systems, valves and pumping equipment and enjoys taking ownership of project delivery including planning, budgeting, estimating, scheduling and documentation, while working closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.

THE ROLE:
* Manage mechanical engineering projects across storage tanks, valves, pumps, and piping systems from concept through to completion.
* Develop and manage project controls including budgets, cost tracking, estimating, schedules, and reporting.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, scopes of work, and project specifications.
* Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring work is delivered safely and in line with design, codes, and site standards.
* Support inspections, repairs and upgrades in line with API standards and site integrity programs.
THE PERSON:
* Project Manager or Engineer with experience in mechanical systems within chemical, terminal, refinery or similar environments.
* Strong knowledge of storage tanks, piping, valves, and pumps, with familiarity in relevant API standards (e.g. API 650, API 653, ASME B31.3).
* Comfortable managing full project lifecycle including budgeting, estimating, scheduling and documentation independently.
* Experience in contractor management, construction oversight and working within regulated, safety-critical environments.
* Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
