This is an opportunity to join a well-established electronics recycling and commodity recovery business that has been operating successfully in Sacramento for over 25 years who is looking to expand both its local market presence within a 200-mile radius and its reach across the United States. The business specialises in electronics recycling and the recovery of valuable commodities and materials from end-of-life electronic equipment.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong hunting mentality who enjoys outbound business development, market segmentation, analysing sales data, and continuously improving their approach through customer feedback and performance metrics.

THE ROLE:
* Drive high-volume new business activity through outbound calls, emails, prospecting campaigns, networking, and customer visits.
* Identify, segment, and target new markets and customer groups while continuously refining messaging and sales approaches using data and feedback.
* Manage and grow customer relationships across electronics recycling, commodity recovery, secure destruction, and related service offerings.
* Analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to maximise revenue opportunities across local and national markets.
THE PERSON:
* Proven business development or sales experience within a high-volume, transactional, or activity-driven sales environment.
* Strong hunter mentality with a track record of generating opportunities, opening new accounts, and building sales pipelines from scratch.
* Commercially analytical with the ability to use CRM systems, sales metrics, AI tools, and customer feedback to improve performance.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable balancing outbound sales activity with face-to-face customer meetings and relationship development.
