In this role the successful Buyer/Procurement Manager would be responsible for ensuring optimal contribution of procurement for new products. You will contribute procurement expertise from the early phases of product development, all the way to end-of-life and implement global strategies within product development.

The ideal Buyer/Procurement Manager would ideally come from a life science or manufacturing bacground and be keen to work for a life sciences business in a role that will require occasional travel internationally.

The Role:

• Work closely with design teams.
• Procurement, sourcing, negotiating and buying of raw materials.
• Preparation and planning.
• Full lifecycle engagement.
• Reporting and working with key stakeholders.

The Person:

• Procurement Manager/Buyer with a background in life science or manufacturing.
• Local to Maldon.
• Happy to travel with the role.
